With over 20 years of IT experience working with clients of all levels of expertise, experience, and from home users, to small businesses, to startup companies, to University departments and research institutes, I have discovered one common factor with all of them, they all need a "no nonsense" and pragmatic approach to solving the problems and meeting their requirements, and providing a solution that is right for them in a "timely" manner, and managable after the "expert" has gone.
I deal with technology for humans, I want to deliver a solution that is right, and not necessarily what everyone else says that my client should have but what does the job and is appropriate.
